Traveling soon? Then this article is for you! I've compiled a bunch of packing hacks and tips from my travel experiences to help you! Hopefully, these can help you on your journey just like how they helped me!
Packing. It's a pain, I know. It's the "monkey-in-the-middle" between you and your dream getaway. Lucky for you, these packing hacks can save time and a ton of hassle! -Instead of folding, roll your clothes: This saves a ton of space in your suitcase for any other necessities. -Put heavy items near the suitcase wheels: This makes sure your suitcase is well balanced and the lighter items aren't crushed. -Cover your razor with a binder clip: It prevents hand-slicing and provides a cheaper alternative to a razor cover! -Tie cords with rubber bands: Ever found yourself in a situation where all the cords you brought in your bag have tangled around each other? This hack prevents that from happening. -Put shoes in shower caps: Voila, clean suitcase. A plastic bag works too. -Bring an empty, reusable waterbottle: Airport security doesn't allow you to bring your own water through the security check. Bring an empty, reusable waterbottle and just fill it up for free at a water fountain after passing the security check. It saves money (water in airports are overpriced) and time! -Pack an extra outfit: Trust me, just do it. -Cover any bottles that might leak with plastic wrap: Prevents spills. Just twist off the cap, put plastic wrap over the opening, and twist the cap back on. -Color-code clothes: I don't know if this is a hack or not, but I just know that it helps me pick out outfits! -Pack sheet masks in liquids bag: This is for you beauty-loving ladies (and men) out there! -Check your airline website for packing regulations: Don't be that person holding everyone up at the security checkpoint because you brought 1 oz. more in your liquids bag than the limit. That's all the hacks I have for you today! I hope they can help you when you travel! If you have any packing hacks of your own that I have missed, feel free to comment them down below! -Deborah <3
